How KeyWash Lounge Works: Pickup, Wash, Fold, and Delivery

How to book wash-and-fold pickup and delivery

Getting started with KeyWash Lounge is simple. Follow these steps to schedule laundry service in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

1. Prepare your laundry

Place your clothing, towels, or linens in any bag, laundry bag, basket, or hamper. Your laundry does not need to be in a KeyWash Lounge bag before pickup.

2. Book your wash

Select Book a Wash, choose the number of bags, and confirm pickup availability for your ZIP code.

3. Complete the order form

Provide your pickup details, delivery information, contact details, and any special handling instructions. Text or email communication helps keep order details organized.

4. Make your payment

Review the order and complete payment. Service begins after the payment is successfully completed.

5. KeyWash Lounge processes your laundry

We review your order, wash and dry approved items, carefully fold them, and prepare them for delivery.

Laundry Bag & Hamper Guidelines

At KeyWash Lounge, we want to make laundry day as convenient as possible while maintaining our commitment to quality and consistency.

Our Recommended Bag Size

For the most consistent bag-count service, we recommend using 30-gallon kitchen bags. This size helps us maintain a more consistent approach when handling and processing your laundry. Please note that the amount of laundry each bag holds may vary depending on the type and weight of your items.

Use a Bag or Hamper of Your Choice

Prefer to use your own laundry bag, hamper, or another suitable container? No problem! You are welcome to use any bag or hamper you prefer for pickup.

Additional Bag Guidelines

Your selected service and bag count help us determine the scope of your order. If your laundry exceeds the number of bags included in your booking, KeyWash Lounge will contact you before proceeding with any additional charges or changes to your order.

Our goal is to make every pickup simple, transparent, and convenient while delivering the quality of care you deserve.

Additional bags

If your order requires more bags than selected, KeyWash Lounge will contact you before processing the additional bags and payment.
